13 Orphans Lounge Launch

13 Orphans Lounge is the reimagined mahjong speakeasy on the top floor of Baba’s House. Based on the infamous 13 orphans winning hand in Mahjong, it’s more than a lounge—it’s a celebration of heritage, a meeting place for the curious and nostalgic alike, and a bold step forward in preserving and reimagining timeless traditions.

Do you have flowers?

As a regular and volunteer at Baba’s House, that place is special to me. Not only do I go every week to connect with others over a social and lightly competitive game of my cultural heritage, I wanted to make art to honor of the love I have for Baba’s.

As part of the launch, I designed special edition flyers in my own style inspired by the Flower tiles in Mahjong with 3D renderings of the 13 tiles needed to win the ever elusive and incredibly rare 13 orphans hand.

I also created an evergreen poster for 13 Orphans post-launch and a mahjong table 4 color riso print.
